Canyon High School is an award-winning, highly rated public high school located off Imperial Highway in the heart of Anaheim Hills. This Gold Ribbon School ranks far above the state average in test scores for English and math. A variety of honors and Advanced Placement courses are offered, as well as the rigorous International Baccalaureate. The school serves approximately 2,200 students in grades 9-12 and has a student-teacher ratio of approximately 26-to-1. Canyon offers its students a range of career and technical education programs. These include aviation, education, engineering, legal practices, graphic design and patient care. Students may also pursue dance, drama, film education, journalism and more. Extracurricular activities and athletic programs are abundant at Canyon. In addition to the more traditional clubs, like chess or drama, students may choose robotics, culinary arts, photography and service groups — among many others. I thoroughly enjoyed Canyon High School's academic opportunities. In particular, the spacious labs and state-of-the-art classrooms improved my overall education.

Some of my best experiences at Canyon were the teachers that I had and the friends that I made. The teachers were always ready to teach always make sure that their students well prepared and take the time to connect with their students. I was apart of the swim team when I was a student and I absolutely loved the team spirit and school spirit that the school environment brought. Everyone showed up for everyone no matter what the sport was.

Canyon High School has given me an exceptional foundation to further my education. Through the amazing teachers and administrators I've felt very supported to reach my goals. The activities on campus welcomes everyone of all different interests. I'm proud to say I attend Canyon High school.

Do not bring your kids to this school, they do not prepare students for success. They just give them study guides so they can memorize and that’s how they get good grades. From the time my children entered 9th grade, I asked the counselors how to prepare them for the IB program because I wanted them...

Great school! Currently here as a freshman, and I have a 504 Plan in place. Overall, all teachers are really accommodating and got it right after it was sent to them.
