Apopka has been a decent school to be at. We learn what we need to but most of the faculty just doesn't care that much. However some teachers do put a lot of effort into their students. Most the time I feel like I'm doing nothing in my classes. Most of the regular teachers dont even teach they just give us work. Also I know it's not a school thing but a district thing the cellphone rule is bogus I dont understand why we aren't allowed cellphones during lunch some people dont have friends to socialize with for 30 minutes.

When it comes to the best parts of high school, I loved being apart of the Blue Darter band. The atmosphere and community surrounding the organization is incredible and I always enjoy any kind of event relating to band. As for the worst, it has to be the threats that are made. It takes away from the learning environment and adds additional stress for everyone that is unneeded. I would like to see more strict punishments for actors like this and luckily, that is starting to take place.

i've witnessed many fist fights in my years at this school. The students do not treat the school with care and it's usually dirty. The admin do their best.

There is much school spirit, an extraordinary amount of pride in the school. We have gone from a sup...

I've spent quite a bit of time at this school, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a bit of fun. But this school is way too crowded. I quite literally got sick of it. Another thing, there are far too many fights. Some of the students in the classes are far too disruptive. Some of the teachers a...

Had 3 children with disabilities graduate from AHS. The administrators, counselors, and teachers were mindful and accommodating regarding their physical and academic needs. Two have attained Master's degrees while the youngest is working towards his Bachelor's.
