GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I don't think AG was bad but the administration is very hit or miss. They didn't take my bullying situation seriously and I was basically told I was in the wrong. They also have no idea what they are doing I went up for college application help and ended up doing it all myself. Athletics on the other hand is very successful there is multiple CIF team champions. (Shoutout girls polo were back to back D1 champs). We've had three full blown lock downs in the past year, full swat teams and everything so I don't know if that means anything.

Arroyo Grande High School is a very balanced school. It offers classes to those who excel in academia but doesn't force others to advance if they are not ready. During my time it was a somewhat accepting school; as well as a medium amount of diversity. The teacher ranged from amazing to irritating. There were various clubs and activities for the students to participate in. Overall it's a great school.

This school fails to moderate the actions/behaviors of the students inside. Constant fights break out as well as sexual harrassment. The staff don't know what they're doing and whenever you try to report these issues, they'll openly admit they won't/can't do anything about it. All students (disabled...

It's CRAZY how most of these ratings are outdated,so here is a fresh one(for now.) LayoutI find the 900s RIDICULOUS for any student is less than able. 8 minutes time to walk what seems like a longer distance than the track. My poor friend got so many 900s classes. She has to walk back and fourth. Th...

Unfortunately, this school is a product of this district. If you have a special needs child, this district is not for you. Have been lied to as the parent and my child manipulated beyond mere detriment in the district's goal not to provide warranted services - even qualify my very deserving autistic...

Over the ladt few years especially quality of education has sharply declined and disabled student services have all but disappeared. School said they were entitled to cut back due to, "Covid allowances".
