Briar Woods is not what I had expected. I thought that thr student community would be more accepting of eachother but I fell it's very clicky.

School is overpopulated and several teachers should retire as they seem to no longer actually want to teach. But many are great!

I have had a great experience at Briar Woods. The school has a large variety of activities and sports for every student to participate in. I have made so many strong friend relationships and I know that these relationships will last my entire life. Briar Woods has also allowed me to focus on the classes that interest me and not require me to take classes in every category of curriculum. The majority of the teachers seem to really care about their students in their class. I have really only had 2 teachers that were very passive-aggressive and I dreaded going to their class to see what their mood was that day. The athletics program has really allowed me to grow in my own sport and also in my management skills for the other sports that I am involved with.

So much better than the middle school in this school zone, what a horror that was! Briar woods focuses too much on sports, in my opinion. Too many emails about fundraisers, games, try outs and trophies. And if your kid wants to try out, they need to begin skilling in that sport in 6th grade. As well...
