ASU Preparatory Academy-Polytechnic Middle School is one of the branches of the ASU Preparatory Academy District. Similar to the high school and elementary school, the middle school is focused on providing its students with a STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) curriculum. This curriculum gives students the opportunity to learn with real-world applications.
The school's population is made up of nearly 300 students, serving fifth through seventh grades. The middle school offers students a hybrid form of learning, using both in-person and online programs. This form of learning allows students to work at their own pace. Along with its STEM-focused curriculum, it uses hands-on and collaborative projects to prepare students for real-world experiences.
Although the school has a state average student-to-teacher ratio of 19-to-1, they pride themselves on making each student feel welcomed and understood. The small school environment creates a culture that engages each student and allows them comfort throughout their academic and personal growth. It is my first year here. Overall I like the school a lot, but as everything, it can be better in some aspects.

I like the challenge that is given. If there was one thing to change that would be the after school activities and increase the area at which the students get for learning lab as they get crowded at times.
