Ellendale Elementary School is a public school established in 1977 in Bartlett, Tennessee, a suburb northeast of Memphis. It is part of the Bartlett City Schools system.
At the home of the Ellendale Bears, approximately 500 students enroll each academic year. There are approximately 14 students per classroom, allowing teachers to give more attention to students to maximize their learning experience. The mission of Ellendale Elementary is to build a community of learners and leaders. The staff shares the vision of striving to make the school an environment of belonging and acceptance, while celebrating diverse accomplishments and collective strength.
Maximizing productivity and opportunity for students is a top priority at Ellendale Elementary, which is why it participates in a Title I School-Wide Program. The program allows students to take advantage of benefits such as assistance with school supplies, tutoring and summer workbooks, to name a few. This also means investing in school equipment, such as laptops for students and other technology for learning.
Ellendale Elementary also offers extracurricular activities to nurture students outside the classroom, like basketball and track. The sports field offers plenty of green space to enjoy the outdoors on this large, well-kept campus, as well as the playgrounds.

This is a smaller school than what I am use to. We moved here from SC. Everyone was so friendly. We felt like we were apart of the family. I loved it here. The teachers were great and always in communication.

If you can move to get your kids in this school, I highly recommend it. The staff makes you feel like family, they are very caring and supportive. It's definitely the best school I've had my kids enrolled at.

Teachers do not teach most of the content in class and parents have to do most of the teaching at home. Teachers also have poor classroom planning skills. The school is so bad that we have considered private or home school alternatives and are actually moving to get out of this school zone.
