St. Ann Catholic School is a private elementary and middle school in Bartlett, Tennessee, a suburb northeast of Memphis. It serves pre-K to eighth grade students. The school opened in September 1960, six years after the Saint Ann Catholic Church in Bartlett became a parish.
Over the decades, the home of the Colts has had several renovations and expansion projects due to the population growth in Bartlett. This growth increased the demand for more capacity and boosted student enrollment at the school. St. Ann has 30 classrooms with computer and science labs. There are also two gymnasiums on campus.
St. Ann Catholic School is accredited by Cognia and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The school is also a member of the National Catholic Education Association and the Parochial Athletic Association. The school was recognized as one of the Apple and Google Schools, designated as centers of leadership and educational excellence.
Students can take coding courses with state-of-the-art technology in each classroom. The curriculum also includes a dyslexia instruction to help students that have challenges with reading. Students have several extracurricular activities to choose from. Whether students like more traditional sports, they also have the option to join the bowling team or golf club.
