The school’s focal point is the Learning Commons area, which encourages collaboration and new uses of technology in and outside of the classroom.
Located at 7000 S Third Street, Condit Elementary enrolls just under 800 students in prekindergarten through fifth grade. All students attend enrichment classes in art, music, computer, reading and physical education on top of a regular core curriculum and dual language program.
The school has an active Parent Teacher Organization and an involved neighborhood community. Volunteering is huge at Condit Elementary—there are always schoolwide celebrations and fundraising events for parents and students to participate in to further strength their school community.
Students at Condit are achieving at high levels academically. Student test scores soar above state averages, and Condit has earned all six academic distinctions that elementary schools are eligible for in the state of Texas.
Students can also participate in a private after-school program that offers chess, drama, sewing, robotics and cooking, among other fun activities. Another after-school option is competing in the University Interscholastic League, the largest interschool organization of its kind in the world.

Both of my children have gone all the way through Condit. We have a child who is graduating 5th grade this year and are so sad to leave. Condit has caring teachers and a very engaged and wonderful principal. We have been so happy there and will miss it greatly!
