Amity Elementary School has a legacy of quality education and innovative teaching in the Southwest Boise community. The school opened its doors in 1979 and quickly gained national notoriety as one of the first buildings in the country to incorporate solar energy and earth cover in its building design.
Amity Elementary School currently offers state-of-the-art classrooms, a library, a cafeteria and an expansive recreation field and outdoor play areas. The Amity Elementary Groundhogs work toward being their best selves by creating a safe and supportive community that incorporates academic achievement and mutual respect.
