As one of Boise's finest primary schools in the West Valley neighborhood, Andrus Elementary has been educating the children of Boise’s West Valley neighborhood since 1997. Named in honor of former governor and school advocate Cecil D. Andrus, the school has also received the Idaho Teacher's Association award of excellence. The school offers opportunities to participate in community service, extracurricular activities, and fine arts. Andrus Elementary's campus provides a wide range of student resources, including modern classrooms, a multimedia library, a cafeteria, a playground and a recreation field adjacent to the 21-acre Hobble Creek Park. My son has had issue's going to the restroom and getting a drink. He comes home all the time almost wetting his pants (and has a couple of times) and really thirsty, sometimes dehydrated. He says he's not aloud to get drinks or use the restroom when he asks. That is a problem for me.
