White Pine Elementary School has built a legacy of providing quality education for Southeast Boise students since 1990. White Pine Elementary’s dedicated teaching staff serves the diverse needs of students from pre-kindergarten through the sixth grade by collaboratively providing “a safe and positive envrionment where children gain confidence through academic success.” Young learners here follow their mascot, the timber wolf, in striding toward respect, responsibility, and always doing their best. Student performance meets or exceeds the state average in math, literacy skills, and science. The school's campus offers several resources and amenities, including a cafeteria, multi-media library, modern classrooms, a dedicated music room, a gymnasium, several outdoor athletic play courts, a playground, and an expansive recreation field. Students and parents find the teachers here friendly and supportive of English language learners, gifted and talented children, and children with special needs. The students especially enjoy the art and music lessons and S.T.E.M.-based projects that take place regularly. Parents are welcome to participate in volunteering on campus and in the parent-teacher organization that oversees several school events and fundraisers throughout the school year. We sent four kids thru White Pine and had nothing but great experiences. Experienced, caring teacher that were both advocates and mentors.

I have two boys that attended White Pine and I believe it is a wonderful school with wonderful and educated faculty and great staff. They are all so helpful and caring. I now have a Granddaughter attending White Pine and hope she has the same experience. Looking forward to seeing her success!

They have a great balance of students: GATE, special ed, ESL. The staff and teachers are committed to teaching respect and tolerance throughout the year. My child's teachers have been flexible and supportive, no matter what challenges they face. Can't say enough good things about this school!
