Leon M. Goldstein High School is definitely a school that I'll remember. I transferred here from Midwood High School and I don't regret it at all. I met a lot of new friends that I can't wait to spend my high school life and make memories with. I love that it's a smaller school than other Brooklyn schools because in my opinion smaller schools make me feel more like I fit in. The opportunities here aren't as advanced as Midwood High School because Goldstein isn't as rich but honestly the members and people here make it feel like it doesn't matter. I have felt so much happier here and honestly there isn't anything that I'll really change.

The best thing about Goldstein are the teachers, who make sure that their students get the best education possible. The worst part about it are the bathrooms, our water pressure sucks:)

my experience so far with LMGHS is great I've never really been the type to study or prepare for an exam until I entered this school, this school's teaching is based on math and science. I remember sophomore studying every night for chemistry.. it was not easy but the pressure of having to pass that class helped me build study methods I never knew I could build, I'm currently in my junior year, and the study methods I learned last year are helping me significantly with my AP bio and trigonometry class. most teachers offer tutoring after school so that is also very helpful for students who need person-to-person learning. So far my experience with this school is great, the teachers are amazing and will always help you when you need it.

The geometry teacher and chemistry teacher in 9th grade were not supportive at all. They were not engaged in communication with our family. The counselor does not care about students and parents. Parents’ opinion does not have any value. The overall experience is bad.

Totally agree with the previous review, this’s, for sure, the most overrated school in ny!!! Worst math and science teachers.admin staff and principal are beyond horrible, especially the attendance office! it’s like they don’t exist… If interested to experience a school without a principal or admin...
