Located on the Lower West Side of Buffalo, New York, The International Preparatory School, or PSA 198, is a co-educational public high school serving ninth through 12th grades. The tuition-free school is housed on the historic Grover Cleveland High School campus. With its mission “to bring the world into focus,” the International Preparatory school, also known as I-Prep, is committed to being culturally and linguistically responsive. Unique features of the inclusive learning environment include a business academy, an architecture and design academy, and a multilingual teachers academy. In addition, a partnership with 21st Century Community Learning Centers provides I-Prep students with extended learning time each afternoon. Programming includes academic tutoring, health and wellness support and youth development activities.

Moving from out of the USA, International Preparatory was an easy shift giving the diversity of the students as well as the teachers' guidance. Every student has at least one trusted adult at the school to feel safe. The school prioritizes mental health. Academically it is not the strongest. It does the best to uplift its students however it is not the most challenging.

I like this school because of its environment. the teachers and staff members are respectful and understandable. Teachers help students to do their work even though the due is already past
