I have always felt safe in Candor. Although we do not have any type of school security, there are no real threats to our school.

Few teachers are difficult to learn from or difficult to get along with. A few are hard on students, but mostly all the teachers are very understanding. The teachers give us chances to make up for bad behavior or bad quality of work. They are mostly very easy to approach. They are also very friendly and helpful.

We have a good selection of athletic opportunities at Candor High School. Most everyone in our school has at least tried a sport during their high school careers. Several of our teams go on to sectionals and even to states in a few cases. We have a sufficient number of coaches for each team. Parents are always very involved when it comes to Candor's athletics and show their support by helping to fund events, going to games and cheering us on from the sidelines.

The excellent teachers make this school. I am so happy my children went to Candor Central School. It is not just a school, it is a community!

This school could not be worse. There is no discipline for the jr/sr high students, they swear directly at the teachers in class with nothing being done. Classes are rowdy and out of control. Candor's focus is on sports over education. They are very proud of their athletic record, but little emphasi...
