Designated a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in 2014, Homestead Elementary School in Centennial enrolls about 400 students in prekindergarten through fifth grade.
Part of the Cherry Creek Schools district, Homestead Elementary has a school building decorated with bright, colorful murals and a campus with a playground, athletics facilities and a garden.
Homestead Elementary School offers extracurricular activities and extra help for students who need it, as well as before- and after-school care programs.
School district literacy innovation and technology instruction packages, called LitKits, are available through the school library. These supplemental education tools include instruction guides for technology-related subjects such as robotics and innovative activities such as podcasting.

Homestead is a fantastic school. The school boasts a tight-knit, welcoming community. The class size is small and the teachers are exceptional. I couldn't be more pleased with my kids' academic growth. I feel they are being challenged and supported in all the right ways.
