Middle school was quite nice here. The high school has many problems with detached teachers, poor communication from the main office and the overall environment. My 10th grader is very unhappy here as are my wife and I, we will not be returning.

FBS has offered many academic opportunities. All of my teachers and the administration are caring and involved with students. My teachers are skilled and dedicated to teaching. I believe I am well prepared for college work. I am definitely motivated and ready to go to college.

First Baptist students see each other as family. As any other family there are differences, disagreements, and problems between people, but when it comes to school spirt and pride all of the students come together to support their school. Sports are a large part of social life and culture at First Baptist; players push each other to perform the best they can in and out of the classroom.

First Baptist is over the top! The teachers and administration have such a devotion to the education of children. The campus is located downtown Charleston, close to the battery, we are also excited about the new school building opening this coming school year!

We have been part of FBS for 16 years and love the atmosphere of the downtown and island campus. If you want to solid education, loving teachers, growing in the word and love of God this is your school!

I have been at First Baptist for 2 years and all of my children have been loved, challenged, and supported. I am grateful for the opportunities they have with small class sizes and dedicated teachers. The location and planning makes for great field trips, class trips, and learning. I also enjoy that...
