GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I actually do like my school. I feel that it has actually done a good job at preparing me for what's about to come.

I haven't had a bad experience yet and I don't think I will be having one. I do know that they just recently purchased yonder pouches and I know its something that I have to get used to but I have been doing pretty good without my phone.

The school did not have very many resources available and I did not feel very prepared after leaving. It was not safe and not very clean. Since Ive graduated it seems to have improved. So hopefully my predictions are correct.

The school does not represent what Ralph Ellison, himself stood for in his struggles. The policy is "PPP", Policy Per Student. They send our children out as if they're garbage, not caring about their future behind Ralph Ellision. Also the teachers especially the Deans are not qualified to handle iss...

This school is ridiculous, you have a few good teachers who care and quite a few who don't. These children are always either suspended or in detention. I understand that they have to be disciplined but the rules are TOO strict and something needs to be done. I've noticed that the enrollment is lower...

I am a student at CICS Ralph Ellison, and contrary to everything on here, the scores on the ACT are low. Students are scoring 15's on these ACT's. There is gang-banging at the school, or at least symbolising. Its not actually them trying to start a fight. Although the girls are thirsty to fight any...

CICS-Ralph Ellison is a high school on the cutting edge. We offer a rigorous, college-preparatory curriculum designed to help students excel in their post-secondary endeavors. There are teachers who are dedicated to meeting and exceeding the students' needs. There are great student-student interacti...
