GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have been going to school in the Clovis Municipal School district since kindergarten. It has always been good to me and personally, I have never had problems there. I have been a part of both band and choir and Clovis is well known for their amazing music in the schools. I have also been a part of the dance teams in the middle schools and high schools and they are a great environment to grow up in as well as a great way to being involved in school events. I really enjoy being enrolled in this school system.

The classes I've taken at this school have all been perfect for me. At times it seems the school is shortstaffed based on the qualifications on some teachers, but I know that they are doing the best they can for the school. I have a really great counselor who listens to me whenever she can. I love my teachers and my schedule.

Throughout my year of study at Clovis High School I have found that they have a vast amount of amazing teachers that excel in their profession. I personally found that if you take the time to put in the hard work to get good grades the staff will always find a way to help you throughout the year. I struggled with many subjects and some days did not have the best work ethic but with the hard work put in on the good days the teachers were understanding of situations and never failed to bring the mood of the day back to a positive level.
