Education wise everything here is excellent. Teachers are pretty good, although a few of them are below average. Student culture though is absolutely horrible. A lot of people engage in underage smoking+vaping. They are also unmotivated to get good grades. And there is quite a bit of bullying. Overall it's a good school just be ready for the students.

We are so impressed with CMS! My 6th grader absolutely loves it!! I was worried about the transition to middle school but he is THRIVING!! The teachers and staff are so loving and supportive. The school emphasizes that each student matters and they stand by it!

Car raider line closes earlier than it's supposed to some people right there and that line closes right between 8:12 and 8:13 every time never fails and last few minutes that traffic heavy in that area. Principal Swindle and the staff at CMS work very hard to ensure students learn and receive the socio-emotional help they need during the difficult transition from elementary to middle school. My son was very worried about middle school, but he absolutely loved his experience there.
