My time at Hammond was very transformative. Some of the teachers where always willing to help, making the learning environment challenging in their own ways. I was not able to participate is a lot of events nor sports but for clubs, the international club was by far my favorite thing to be in. Overall, my experience at Hammond has shaped me academically,socially and personally. I am grateful for the opportunities and support I received there.

The best parts of Hammond High School are the teachers, they are willing to help their students to see them succeed.

Hammond high school is a really good school. All of my brothers have gone and graduated from hammond. I'm one of the last ones to graduate soon. I really love how diverse the school is and how every teacher or admin is really kind and guide you whenever you ask for assistance. I have a lot of good experience, I haven't had a bad one. My teachers that I've had throughout the years have guided me to success and I'm super grateful.

I think that Hammond is stuck in a rough situation. Its difficult for them to point to parents and say, your level of involvement equates to your childs' success.
