Columbus City Preparatory School for Boys is a public middle school in Columbus’ Eastmoor neighborhood. Located just 15 minutes from the city center, enrollment is available to students who live within the Columbus City Schools district. The personalized attention afforded by the relatively small size of the student body supports the school’s commitment to creating a structured, safe and motivating school environment for students from all walks of life.
Just like their Falcon mascot, scholars at Columbus City Prep are encouraged to fly high and live by the principles of accountability, respect, integrity, service and excellence. Students benefit from partnerships with local organizations, including Ohio State University’s Bell National Resource Center, the BOLD Institute and Driven Foundation. Family ambassadors, tutors and other support staff also guide children throughout their educational experience at Columbus City Prep.

I am beyond thankful for Columbus City school district for even opening such a wonderful well put together school. My 8th grade son has attended the school since the 6th grade. I have had no issues with the school, the goals and changes we have gone through to make the school and the kids successful...

DIsappointed with this school. They didn't know how to deal with my son who has been diagnosed with aspergers. The classrooms were chaotic and this is not just me saying it. I had my wife, myself and at least 2 other professionals that have witnessed the classrooms. They were out of control.
