Located on the west side of the Eastmoor neighborhood, St. Catharine School offers private preschool services and elementary and middle school instruction to students in the Columbus community.
As a member of the Columbus Catholic Diocesan School System, the educational experience at St. Catharine School emphasizes and values spiritual growth while promoting academic achievement. Weekly school masses, daily scripture readings and religious education classes are among the approaches the school uses to immerse its students in the Catholic faith.
Despite its small size, St. Catharine School is equipped with the latest technology and an excellent in-house library that includes access to the Columbus and Bexley Public Library collections. Spanish language education, service-learning, student council, art and music programs, advanced reader programs and other school-sponsored enrichment opportunities are offered to supplement the standard classroom curriculum. Beginning in fourth grade, extracurricular sports programs are also available to St. Catharine School students.

Stay away from this school, stay far away. Look at all other options, shoot, your local public school will be a better choice then St. Catherine's. This school is after your money, nothing else. The current principal of this school is unorganized, ineffective and does not enforce any of the school's policies or rules. He does not respond to emails and can't give a direct answer to your questions. The school's safety is a joke. Doors that do not lock, vagrants found sleeping on the gym stage...

2/5. does not adequately prepare students for highschool, and doesn't provide a decent enough learning experience for students grades 6-8. for preschool through elementary, it is ok. but middleschool is a nightmare. the grading program used is a simple N for not meeting the standard, or a checkmark...

The curriculum is not preparing children for more rigorous high school studies. Teachers definitely exhibit strong favoritism towards specific students due to the social status of parents. Education should always be top priority, especially not politics when referring to elementary or middle school....
