Whetsone High School has been going down in the years i have been gping their. my freshmen year was the best for the school, and my by the end of my senior year, i was happy to leave. the school isn't that good and we only had two bathrooms in the school for a while.

Whetstone is a great community and I loved attending school there, but it lacks in advanced academic classes and opportunities.

The best part of my high school experience would have to be the performing arts program. The worst part of my high school experience would be the bathrooms not all being unlocked and being forced to wait in a long line every day.

This school has involved parents and families and a great mix of kids from all different backgrounds. There are plenty of opportunities for kids interested in performing arts and sports, plus AP and college credited courses. The building is in a safe neighborhood next to Whetstone Park.

My freshman son loves Whetstone. He was a shy boy but this school brought out the best in him. He was one of the 2014-2015 Academic Hall of Fame awardees.
