Whitehall Preparatory and Fitness Academy is a public charter elementary and middle school located near the southeast corner of the Eastmoor neighborhood in Columbus.
One of the most unique features of Whitehall Preparatory and Fitness Academy is its commitment to daily physical activity. Students receive over one hour of fitness instruction every day to support their teamwork skills, self-esteem and physical health. During a time when many schools are chipping away at the hours devoted to physical education, this program is especially notable and a point of interest for prospective parents and students.
Student test scores at Whitehall Preparatory and Fitness Academy generally align with the results of other schools across the district. The school’s curriculum includes a phonics-based program for reading and language acquisition, interactive math and science games and other research-supported classroom instruction tools. This is a great school to send your children to. The principal M. Dolan knows all the children by name, the teachers are very attentive to the children's learning needs, and the staff and principal go above and beyond to be attentive to the children's and parent's concerns. My kindergartner has continued to blossom at the direction of her teacher Ms. Hicks. I believe that the school has done a phenomenal job, juggling the requirements of the Pandemic restrictions and continuing to educate the children. So far so good!

I think the school is great. My kids are doing well. The teachers stay in constant communication with me and they go above and beyond to make sure that my children's needs are met.
