GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

All teachers that work at Elba are very understanding and kind. They will work with you to make sure you stay on the right path. It is a shame many teachers leave soon after they start at Elba. Some leave because they find a better-paying job and some leave because they have no other choice. Often my peers and I are heartbroken when a teacher leaves, I would like to see this change.

Sports, basketball in particular, is prioritized over everything else including art and education. in this town your last name gets you farther than hard work and education does

There are really leaky ceilings. The guidance counselors are never in their offices and rarely get student's college info such as transcripts into colleges in time. The school is too dependent on technology.
