Westmark School teaches you excellent skills quickly and efficiently. This is a good school to learn what you need to learn, but it is a huge culture change. I suffered a lot with making friends like at my other school because there are a lot of neurodivergent people with personalities that are hard to connect with. Despite this, I do keep in touch with a few people from my time at Westmark. Once I was able to leave Westmark, I struggled to relearn my original social skills that I had before coming to Westmark, which was a very sad and confusing journey for me. The school had an aggressive administration during my time there (I don't know how it is now), which was also another culture shock for me and my parents.

We have been at Westmark for 8 years. My son started in 3rd grade. Now in 10th grade he has blossomed into the extraordinary person and confident learner thanks to Westmark's expertise and wonderful staff. We are so happy to be part of the Westmark family and appreciate everything they have done.

My son did NOT want to leave his former private school, but his discalcula resulted in him taking too much of his after-school time to re-do homework and study. But after joining Westmark in grade 6, Leo is an enthusiastic learner of all subjects, and had had several teachers really connect with him and encourage his interests. He also counts his classmates among his very best friends.

Our son was diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD in 1st grade. Despite endless tutoring, he was stressed, discouraged, and felt like everyone else was smarter. He loved his friends and his school, but it became clear that even with all the support we could provide, the way he was being taught just wasn’...

Westmark is an excellent school not only for children with learning differences to learn, but for them to gain the confidence and amass the strategies to succeed in life. My son’s confidence grew exponentially from 7th grade to graduation. He gained entry to a college he would never had been accepte...

Westmark is an incredible school that has changed our child's life. We went from fights over homework, refusing to read (because it was so hard for them), and hating school to thriving from drop off to pick up. Each day starts with 90 minutes of reading - which when you first hear that you think "th...
