I was not happy with my child's teachers or the curriculum that was used in either the Kindergarten or 1st grades. My daughter was not given homework and the schoolwork was too easy. The teacher stated that the school had moved away from giving homework as it was not shown to help students learn or reinforce what they had learned. It became apparent that the school does not support the individual academic needs of the students. I felt my child's education regressed drastically as a result of her attending Evans Elementary.

As a student here, I had witnessed a teacher not even hesitate to help a kid who was feeling upset and the teacher instead wrote him up because he wanted to see his parents. Terrible teacher emotional support.

I was very disappointed how unwelcoming the staff was. Not only that, they almost placed a student that wasn’t mine In my car at car line.
