At HSE high school, I would like to see more parent involvement. I would also appreciate it if students could choose earlier on which areas they are more interested in, because often times, the focus is Math and Science.

My experience in high school was impactful and helped to shape my life. I found the teachers at this school to be helpful and knowledgeable resources and mentors. The main thing I want to change is to increase the mention of college in the first 2 years of high school.

I'd say the best parts of my experience would be the various clubs and activities that you may join at school. Joining clubs is how I got involved and made new connections with people, as well as attending events like performing arts concerts and sporting events.

youll only fit in if youre rich, white, and straight. theres so much bullying and teachers dont care. went here less than half the year. not for me.

The staff and deans refuse to acknowledge problems within the school, often turning down students in need of help. Hypocritical, as the preach about their willingness to better the school system.

All 3 of my children have had great experiences at HSE high school. Dedicated teachers and staff that promote success. My kids are minority and we don’t live in the “rich” neighborhoods. This hasn’t been a factor to my kids being in varsity sports or being successful in the classroom. I highly recom...
