The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Ive been in that school since 6th grade, at first there were many great teachers. But as time went on I feel like there weren't enough AP classes. The teachers weren't as helpful, som were but not by a lot.

Mediocre at best. Curriculum is not challenging enough if you have a very smart kid and the teachers lack any real enthusiasm for their work.

World Journalism Preparatory School in my opinion is a very small and average school. There's not a lot of college readiness and a lot of events are very disorganized. I believe that there's a lot of space for improvement for this school.
WJPS is a joke. There is so much bullying and so much violence. Administration does not punish the perpetrators so it gets worse and worse. Save your kid from this school!

WJPS have truly prepared me well for my college lifestyle and I cannot thank the faculty at...

My children go to this school and I am very pleased. WJPS is only as good as the students make it - like any school. Ms Poulos is the best -- very supportive as are the teachers. It is a small school so not many extracurricular activities but the trade off is that all the teachers and staff know eac...
