The school is good and there is a good community. There are multiple different groups of people. For sports some times there are not based on skill and instead based on your race but mainly based on your connections.

My experience in reservoir highschool was good, the teachers that I have met were very caring about our aspirations and some are really good at explaining certain subjects that we are learning in class. The school can be pretty dull at times but the creativity of the students are out of this world.

I loved the amount of school spirit and to see how much others cared about being apart of Reservoir. The worse parts would be some of the teachers who make students learn essentially by themselves and don't actually help them learn the material. I'd like to see changes in the involvement of some teachers and an improvement in the facilities at Reservoir.

Current junior here, reservoir has great teachers. I love almost every single one of my teachers. However, the work load is crazy high. We get a higher work load compared to places such as Hammond or Wilde lake. It’s extremely stressful to complete all of the work due to us only having 30 minutes ev...

My child was well prepared to succeed at UMD College Park. She was was accepted at six other schools, and offered a place in the honors program. She took almost all GT as well as nine APs.
