The kindergarten teachers are lazy, they blame their lack of skills on the students who are 5 years old or younger. My 1st grader is reading where he should be at the end of the year.. it's only partway through the year.. he has learned so much and grown . His kindergarten teacher Ms leitch was amazing! They use phonics songs/dances and all the teachers use the same dances so every year they add new sounds/words....
