I am a student here. This is terrible I ask 3 questions a day and they never answer me. The lunch is so nasty. The teachers are so disrespectful they ask for respect and they never give respect to us. My teacher has cussed at us many times. She never has ever been nice or kind to any student since February 16. And she asked why we talk while she's teaching it's because she is SO DISRESPECTFUL. the staff are rude. The pricapal is so rude and harsh for no reason they don't let you go outside. School is so dirty/never cleaned Just overall is just insanely rude staff and non Edible food and nasty hallways/classrooms. Don't bring your child to this school it's just terrible here

The office staff, teachers, & bus garage are extremely rude and lack the ability to communicate with parents. No matter how many times you address a situation they simply do not care. My grandson attended kindergarten and now 2nd grade at this school. We moved to another city during his first grade year and when we moved back he couldn't wait to come back to Decatur. He excels in Miss Banichs class! Never had a problem one with this school. I recommend Gold Academy very highly.

The good: Nice facility and plenty of activities for the kids. The bad: There doesn't seem much of a push for kids to grow in their education. My children get very little homework and have good grades in class, but often fail their state required tests. This tells me that grades are being handed out...
