I started going to Union high school on my sophomore year. It was my first year in the U.S and I did not speak english. But staying there for one smester helped me be fluent in this language. Union high school provide a lot of teacher that can help you without hesitation even though you don't speak english they are always here to guide you.

Being able to meet others from different backgrounds and different cultures is very important here. Academics are rewarded highly, although poor academic skills are often shunned and looked over, making it hard for people from less opportune backgrounds to shine.
