The school had a STEM branch that was very helpful in providing students with the skills to get more involved with medicine and engineering. I was in the engineering program and was able to learn many skills that are useful to an engineer. Problem solving, testing, planning, and even programming.

This school has been the high school my two older siblings have attended, so when I walked in I was already held to a higher standard by the teacher who worked there when my sisters were students. This led to my personal experience being stressful for the first couple of years, I wanted to live up to the athletic legacy my oldest sister left when she played girls soccer at this high school. So I joined track & field and cross country, funny enough I broke my femur my first year of track & field but I healed up and now I'm running cross country. I don't see that experience as a negative as I now look back at it and think about it as a positive. Helen Bernstein High School has been a wonderful place these past 2 years and I can't wait to see what else is to come.

My review for HBHS was not an accurate representation of HBHS. I attend STEM Academy of Hollywood, which is VERY different from HBHS. STEM is a separate Pilot school that operates in the same campus, but it seems that GreatSchools doesn't know that. HBHS seems unsafe and not as effective as STEM, an...

Ah yes, Helen Bernstein High School. I was a Student there and thank heavens I left after 2 years spent into that school, and I like to share that. First off, the Principal there is not a Principal; its a person put in charge at the last second because no one wanted to be Principal of that School, p...

I have been a teacher at Helen Bernstein High School since it first opened. The school has come a long way since its first year, and I'm proud to be a part of such a dynamic team. My fellow teachers are hard-working professionals who really care about challenging the students, and preparing them to...

I am a former student of Helen Bernstein High School, and I would have to say that this school is not worth sending your child to. When I entered college, I was behind from all my peers in my courses because their high schools had much more competitive academics than this school ever had for me. You...
