LC did not prepare me well for scholarship searching and the theater department is woefully snubbed. The culture isn't really one of unity, it's more about keeping students contained and usually the best most open teachers are the ones who don't represent admin.

Lawrence Central High School was definitely a great experience for me. The school offers help for all sorts of problems, as the staff cares for its students and they'll try to help the best they can. I've seen help offered no matter what, even if it is mentally, physically or emotionally, and many students thrive from the help.

I overall enjoyed my experience at Lawrence Central High School. I started attending it during my Junior year, and despite entering the school year late, they accommodated me and I adjusted quite quickly. However, my worst moment at LC would have to be that the bus system is not always on time due to them commuting to another school. My best experience would be Prom 2024, although the tickets were pricy, it was definitely worth it.

LC is an excellent school. The leaders and staff create a very welcoming and friendly environment. Students are encouraged to get to know the adults in the building. The school offers an incredible number of clubs and activities- there truly is something for everyone. Another thing I notice is how t...

Be aware this school doesn’t seem to care about the safety of the kids. My teen was threatened twice and they did nothing. Everyone reassured my teen did nothing wrong, but they didn’t reassure her safety. They still allow these kids in leadership positions. They don’t care about the physical, menta...

My son had a wonderful experience at Lawrence Central. The environment was safe and nurturing. He was able to accomplish all of his goals both academically and athletically, which helped him secure a full- four year scholarship to college. He was challenged academically and this challenge will help...
