Jordan High School is a fantastic school. Although very few students do attempt to wreak havoc, teachers and staff ensure it does not impact your success and they also strongly support the students. They offer a huge variety of resources and I'm glad to be able to attend. I wouldn't change anything about the school itself, but I'd be worried about the people who have a lot of absences. Even then, the school takes proper measures to make sure everyone is there on time.

In my 4 years I have had a great experience. They have given me very helpful resources throughout the years. I love what they offer according to the career I am interested in getting involved in. School spirit is great.

Jordan's an interesting school located in Long Beach, it wasn't the best school for sports I would say go to Poly if you're really interested in sports. But their programs aren't bad at all. ACE student here and the program itself is not bad at all we're connected with the Port of Long Beach and we have been able to get really hands on with CNC Mills, 3-D Printers, and Robotics. Our medical program is one of the best medical programs in Long Beach, I know a lot of people in that program and they have a lot of internship opportunities, and get a lot of certificates that allow them to get a CNA job a lot easier than others.

Its good to hear that the school has improved over the years. When outcast, Gary Graves, became vice principal at that school, it began to go downhill. In fact, the regular school principle was every bit as wimpy as he looked which meant they didn't care about having a professional staff overall.

Jordan High School of Long Beach has so much to offer all students - don't listen to the "hype". Rumors of violence and safety issues are COMPLETELY FALSE. The environment is nothing short of perfection... students really CAN learn in their "own" comfort zone. At Jordan, students are praised for the...
