It's the worst school ever. My sister comes home every day and has three hours of homework. She is always stressed and has no life. She even has homework on the weekend. For context, she is a tenth grader. There is only one year of music. One of the teachers came in high one day and another was abusing the students. And one of the teachers brought a MACHETE into class. and not to show the class for academic purposes but for his enjoyment.

My experience with the Dayton Regional STEM school has been amazing. I enrolled in this school in the 6th grade, and have loved it all 7 years. Now that I am graduating, I have been looking back on all the good memories at this school. The pathways, Chinese program, teachers, and students are all so amazing. Everyone is very caring for each other. This is why I love the Dayton Regional STEM School.

I enjoy the unique culture around learning at the Dayton Regional STEM School. Every student has made the decision to attend, so we all take our work very seriously. Also, teachers are very invested in their students. We use project-based learning at DRSS, which I believe has helped to prepare me for college. It has shown me the best way for me to grasp difficult concepts is to create or complete a hands-on project.

I have one child who attended DRSS for grades 9-12 and he graduated; my daughter is now a 7th grader there and we will be applying for my youngest to attend next year. Preparing your child for the "Real world" is accurate -- my son was ready for college and was ahead of his peers when it came to pro...

Absolutely stellar!! As a parent I communicate with teachers and administrators as needed. Timely responses are the norm. School really does partner with parents and total involvement is welcomed.

This school has helped me learn way better. We do more hands-on activities, and team projects. At first, I was forced to apply, but now that I'm a student there, I'm glad I did!
