More resources and college readiness would be of extreme help. My senior year there, last year, the college counselor told me that I wasn't "capable" of getting my honors diploma and that it would be "too hard" for me. I got the honors diploma anyways. I also got no help signing up for scholarships as well as no help finding and visiting good colleges for me.

I have had a pretty good experience in my school, but I do wish that some things were of higher quality. We lack funding for simple fixes like a hole in our auditorium ceiling (drips when it rains/snows :(). Some teachers are also not very passionate or dedicated to the students, making it difficult to learn both with my peers and from the teacher. Overall though, most seem to do their best and most are always kind and respectful toward the students.

La Pine Senior High School has taught me a lot. although we are a small school and don't have hat money to run on we get a good education. If you are willing to put in the work and keep up with the assignments you will be successful. we don't get too much diversity or that many art?language options but that aside its a pretty good school environment, I've had lots of fun, academic achievements and opportunities through this school and with the I'm thankful.

I have 2 student that are currently attending this school. It is a great small town school, that offers a lot for the size. The CTE programs are really taking off, and the young men they hired for the forestry, shop, and business classes have pushed the school to a new level. They have a great drama...

Earned Oregon's top rating, "Outstanding" on the 2009-10 Oregon Department of Education State School Report Card. Only 37% of Oregon schools earned the same rating statewide.

I am currently a sophomore in high school and this high school is one of the worst. Please, do not send your child here. I have attended this school for 2 years and lacks multiple areas. The classrooms can be overcrowded, music and art programs are slowly being lost. We already lost some classes thi...
