I have enjoyed my time at Cape Henlopen High School greatly and i am very lucky to have attended for the past 4 years. I've met so many amazing teachers that have deeply impacted my growth and I will continue to use as an example as I grow older. But overall the administrators don't take student concerns very seriously at all and are difficult to work with. And there are multiple teachers that are widely disliked due to their bias towards certain students and seeming disdain against other students.

I really liked this high school. It was one of the better ones in the state and it really shows. i thought the academics were pretty good and there was a good preperation for college readiness. I would say that maybe there could be improvement in the safety but overall good school. Sports are also great here.

Some teachers are amazing, and a few are pretty bad. I eat the school lunches and they are pretty good although some people hate it. The class options are very good. Overall great place.

From what I've heard from my students, who attend as well as close by families and friends, there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes here. This district is known to hide major incidents, as they don't want anyone to know what is actually going on. Administration is not up to far, from many loca...

I've watched since one of my children started at Beacon last year, kids being bullied, not just by students but by teachers as well. My daughter was never personally bothered, but witnessed many incidents of disrespectful interactions started by rude comments from teachers about clothing, hair color...

My overall experience of cape henlopen high school has been nothing but miserable and useless. The teachers, principals only care about theirselves and how their school does how the students do. It’s not a good high school to go to if you want to pursue a career or go to college.

I’m an 11th grader in the school and what I say is horrible. The teachers can be rude to disrespectful often not caring about the kids they teach. The school cares more about its image then mental health. My friend has been bullied for 3 years in this school often being told to kill them selves. No...
