Newsome High is a great school to attend to. It does get tricky to get information about Dual enrollment from guidance but they are always willing to help you work through your problems. The school is near a very wealthy neighborhood which means a lot of its problems aren't normal. It has a great sports atmosphere and a healthy rivalry with nearby schools. The teachers are all kind and normally side with the students if there are problems that come from the county and help work to keep the students on track to graduate. Many of the teachers can answer your questions just as good if not better than guidance.

The last few years that I have been here, though it has only been two, I have loved it. The overall environment is great including everything from academics to extra curricular opportunities.

Newsome High School is a great school with access to many resources that help prepare you for college. The faculty is great, and I've had many great experiences with many different teachers. The biggest issue is the students destroying bathrooms leading to them being closed

I sent my kids to newsome and it’s supposed to be a great school !! They favor to the kids in sports to the point where they don’t get punished !! We moved here to have our kids attend this great school however time and time again the staff has proven to have flawed procedures. Excellent HS that provides exceptional education to our teenagers. We are very pleased with the kind staff and student body who welcomes warmly newcomers and allowed easy transition. We are on the outskirts of the school zone so depend on the school bus system, which had been overall very good.
