This school is somewhat of a good place although it has its bad qualities. For examples there have been many incidents around and in front of the school that involves kids getting robbed by African American people. Overall the academics have been really good and their grading system is very easy to manage with because it's not the same as most of the other schools.

Animo watts college preparatory is a great high school that offers the necessary classes to get students ready for their preferred college or university and offers programs for voluntary work. There student community is welcoming to anyone and friendly to those that seek friendships. Teachers are supportive and helpful of students academics and try their best to encourage bolder and higher goals but also maintaining realistic goals from students. Overall the school community is great.

Its a small school which allows for there to be enough help from teachers and staff. We are provided with many resources that help us get through the school year. Although its strict about different policies it helps us be better people and prepares us for college and the next steps in life allowing us to be free and supportive of one another. Its a school with diversity.

This school is a beacon of light in this neighborhood. They welcome students from all backgrounds and do everything in their power to help them to learn both academically and to grow in their personal lives.
