It aims to foster citizens who will make an impact in their community and the world by providing an academic program that prepares students for the college or career path of their choice. Utah Street Span School upholds a mission to “ensure that all students receive a quality education to become productive members of society.” Located in the quaint Aliso Village area of Boyle Heights, this esteemed institution offers a small setting with highly qualified staff and teachers. Personalized learning allows for a nurturing environment that forms connections, preparing children to be effective communicators and real-world problem solvers. With a curriculum centered on mathematics, reading, writing, science, social studies and the arts, the school also provides social-emotional learning, physical and mental health in addition to strong character development. Its Deaf and Hard of Hearing program, available to students from preschool through eighth grade, provides an enriching and challenging American Sign Language (ASL) and English print curriculum.

This school is OK compared to my child's residential school. He is in a special needs program there for Autism. My child is in preschool. Think the program needs a lot of modifications & accommodations for this program. There is NO disability parking for the parents or in general on campus or the su...

this is an excellent school. my kids love it and staff is ver nice. evertime i call or go in the staff always listens to what i have to say. there is not alot of students and my kids will be staying there till the 8th grade so wont have the hasle of taking them to another schooll for jr high
