The teachers at this school use real life situations to help struggling students understand the importance in education. Many of the students are rejected from regular high schools. I was a student falling threw the cracks in a big high school but when i went to this high school I didnt feel so small. I joined Acedemic Decathlon and even won a most improved award. The teaching style was pretty competitive. We would break up into groups and compete threw questionaires. We would also have pot lucks after we met after school. I beleive alot of teachers went above to make sure students that wanted to move foward got the attention they needed to get threw high school.
