GreatSchools Rating

Source: GreatSchools
GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I enjoy that it is easy to make connections with teachers and opportunities are bountiful. The only issue is that it has a stupid lack of variety with the people. I am transgender so it is difficult to not have other people like you. The culture is average. Stupid gossip.

The class list is very small so if you are seriously invested in your academics I recommend going somewhere with more diversity in classes available.

The school gives out very basic classes without much diversity or new exciting programs that other schools have

I am a current student, and the school is alright but could be better. The environment is alright, but favoritism with teachers is an issue here. The teachers have a favoritism problem, and it shows. Unfortunately this school does have more "popular" kids, and the teachers tend favor them, as well a...

Great, bright, and engaging teachers that are held back by poor leadership. Limited academic opportunities and lack of knowledgable safety resources for students. The administration has no integrity and uses manipulative tactics to mask problems. Lack of compassion for children in need of support. L...

LMSHS has been actively building back their school community with new leadership and support staff. There has certainly been some much needed change that has thankfully happened. The school feels more inclusive, more caring and mindful of how our children are doing, especially with the recent pandem...

My child attended LMSH from 6th grade through 8th grade.  During that time she was bullied so severely that it has caused severe trauma.  The bullying was psychological/emotional not physical, therefore we were told there isn't much that can be done or proven.  The bullying started with 1 or 2 girls...
