The class list is very small so if you are seriously invested in your academics I recommend going somewhere with more diversity in classes available.

I hated every minute of every day that I had to be in that place it was the equivalent of the h, e, double l word. All of the people that I knew there I hated it as well it was a miserable horrible experience and I wish every day I would've chosen to go to another school. please do not force your children to have to go through what I, and many others had to go through.

I love the small school vibe of Lyons. Everyone knows each other and it is really easy to get involved in a lot of different activities. The educators are helpful, informative and insightful. The location of the school itself is amazing. There are great places to hike, bike, run and swim all less than a half mile away from the school. Lyons is overall a very good school.
