My experience at Madison Central High School overall has been good. There are ups and downs, good and bad days, but I feel loved here and I know that it's a safe environment with great staff. They are very supportive and caring and I couldn't or wouldn't want to be anywhere else. It's a school I would recommend to a lot of people. There are opportunities here, academically, we have freedom and are held responsible for our actions.

Overall I have had a good experience at this school. It's a lot more free than the other schools for sure. I like how there's numerous amounts of classes to pick from for your schedule. There's nothing really as of right now that I would like to see change.

Madison Central High School cares a lot about academics. We always have meetings about pushing ourselves academically, but what's missing is the emotional bond. I don't feel that the school wants the individual students to succeed. It feels as though what is most important to the school is the money that it brings in, which makes sense, but I would like to feel like I as an individual mattered more. My favourite part about Madison Central is the speech and debate team. I love competing and making new friends and getting to use my voice. Our speech and debate team doesn't have a lot of funding, though. That money is used for sports like football. I just wish that all activities were treated equally. Sometimes it feels that the smaller activities, even when they are more successful, don't matter.

Sure the school has a few cliques, what large school doesn't? I wasn't your stereotypical "Madison Type", but I found plenty of friends and awesome extracurriculars to join. The academics are excellent. Not many schools (public or private) can compare. I was offered 3 different full ride scholarship...

I attended this school four years ago and can honestly say it is one of the best in the state. Every teacher wanted to help with problems and the students who fell behind were the ones who did not care and did not want to put the effort in to do well. worst school ever.. way to much violence. prejudice and too many drugs and alcohol and too many people there wanna judge you if you dont got alot of money.. worst school ever. i believe tht jackson public schools should have a better rating than madison central
