My time here was one of the worst experiences. They have zero regard for student well-being. Bullying was fully allowed. Their suicide rates are concerning.

I came to Mahtomedi as a freshman. I had gone to private school for eight years prior and the transition to public school was really hard. Mahtomedi is extremely clique-y, so I had a hard time making friends and meeting people. Now, as a senior, and Nordic captain, I have been able to accustom much better and through sports I was able to find my people. Overall, Mahtomedi has given me a pretty tough time but I'm grateful for my team and that it's a small school.

I've been largely disappointed with Mahtomedi schools as related to my child with a disability. We moved to this district for the schools and they failed to identify that my child had a learning disability. When a diagnosis was made, and I asked for help, I was initially refused.

The high school did an amazing job preparing all 3 of my boys for college. This is the school district you want to be in. Each of the 4 schools are amazing. The teachers really care about the students progression and want them to succeed. I had two special ed boys who ended up going to college and h...
