At Immanuel Lutheran School, the mission is to empower students to be academically excellent, creative, and service-minded, while glorifying God through Christian living. Part of the school’s philosophy is “we believe that we are serving God by assisting parents in the important work of teaching and nurturing children.”
Immanuel Lutheran School was founded in 1947 and serves 3-year-old preschool students through 8th grade. It is owned and operated by Immanuel Lutheran Church, a member of the Mid-South District of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. The church and school operate as one ministry.
Immanuel Lutheran School educates children in the Christian faith in all academic areas and has been accredited by the National Lutheran School Accreditation since 1991. The 14-acre campus consists of six buildings with classrooms, a gymnasium, kitchen, cafeteria, library, worship center, computer labs, baseball and softball fields, soccer fields and playgrounds. School hours are from 8 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., with both morning care and afternoon care available.

My kid started PreK 3 at Immanuel and from the time we took our tour to her last day of school we've felt like family. The school is amazing and we enjoy the curriculum for the younger kids. I also love that they always keep us in the loop. If you're looking for a school look no further. I can't stress how safe I feel sending my child here.

ILS has offered an amazing middle school experience for my child. Communication from teachers is excellent and they truly make you feel like family. I highly recommend this school for any family looking for an alternative to public school.

Immanuel offers a great education with one-on-one instruction available as needed . Our granddaughters are second generation and would not want to go anywhere else!

I wouldn't recommend this school. They only follow the handbook guidelines when it's beneficial to them. They serve the kids very poor lunch. They teach the kids Spanish from a computer. The school at this point will accept anyone because of the Esa money .

ILS offers a fantastic faith based education. Both of my children went through the preschool program and were more than ready for kindergarten both academically and socially! I highly recommend ILS to anyone who ever asks!

I love this school my son has been at this school for pre K, kindergarten and now 1st grade . The school has supported our family even when our house burned down they were their. This school has been a blessing to my son and my family

I have now had 3 children in ILS. The school and staff are amazing! The smaller classroom size allows for your child to have a more engaging experience in the classroom. The faculty and staff are exceptional!
