There are a few teachers that I really liked and a couple that I had struggled with. My running coaches were great! I felt like I could go to them with the good or the bad and they would either celebrate with me or help me if I needed it. I feel that there could be a little more guidance when having issues with online college classes.

I really enjoyed my time at Okoboji High School. Even though I transfered in late into my high school career, everyone did an amazing job of making sure I got every opportunity I could. The staff was always there if the students needed anything and I felt welcome and that I belonged.

Also, there is so much at Okoboji to get involved in, it is a great place to grow as a person. Okoboji allows you to discover what interests you.

The best way to get into something like National Honor Society or a starting spot on a team is to have a parent who works for the district. Since its a small town, no one says anything. If you're from here, it must be okay - if y...

It is a good small-town school system. The integration with the local community college is great, and my kid will end up with a fair amount of college credit (transferrable to the state universities in IA) by the time she is done. I think that's awesome, and it will open up opportunities in college...
