Overall, MSL is a smaller school, being connected along with the middle school. This doesn't allow for as many classrooms to offer a larger variety of programs and AP classes. Along with that, the MPS free lunch program, from personal experience, does not work in practice. Without a set menu and variation, many students do not get enough or do not eat at all. The teachers that I have met have all been wonderful people, adults that I can come to with any academic issues for classes.

My overall experience at Milwaukee school of Language was really good and because of the size it allowed students to gain relationships and allowed students to be more comfortable with staff and overall was a good community and was diverse

I've been at MSL since 6th grade.MSL is one of the better school in the MPS district we have a huge graduation rate and lots of smart respectful kids.Although much like most schools we have or downfalls.Our school lunch is often compared to jail food and we could have better school spirit

Me and my siblings have gone to this school for years and they have a terrible education system even the language program is terrible the teachers fail to teach their students correctly and they never handle violence correctly or bullying.

PARENTS PLEASE LISTEN. Your child's bilingual education is not, is NOT. There are many student behavior issues at this school, which are not addressed by administration, making it a challenging environment in which to learn and thrive.
