Mount Vernon Academy is a hidden gem. Class sizes are kept small so that students are not forgotten or left behind. I was so tired of the woke ideology and hidden agenda in public schools, not to mention the extremely huge class sizes. Mount Vernon is the complete opposite. It's almost like the olden days: safe, friendly, and where character is equally important as intellect.

My son went here for pre-k then we moved away and now we're back and he's finishing up 1st grade and I love it even more now than any other school he's been to and he's been to countless daycares and 2 public schools.
